Pro's
Charges well without getting hot, has charge level adjustment from 8 amps to 32 amps in several increments. Well constructed , clean lines , robust and has some degree of weather protection. Single phase.
Cons
Needs a 5 pin 32 amp socket which are not common for single phase, but available for 3 phase. Menu system for current selection is frustrating, requiring long presses and delays to scroll thru from 8 amp default each time.
Does not remember last setting after power off. Does not have smart talk capability to your inverter controller.
Overall I do recommend as a mid price portable charger.
Charger exactly as described by Ektronx. Simple to use and the delayed charging feature is handy. Delivery was earlier than I expected.
Bought a single phase, 7.4Kw charger. It cut the charging time down dramatically for our new EV. Well packaged and shipped fast. Instruction book though could do with some review work by a fluent English speaker or native speaker as it is a bit clunky and not the easiest to understand. If you set the feed amperage, device doesn’t retain for next session, so you have to do that step each time. Have not yet tried the schedule charging. Overall, very good value for what it does versus cost.
